Carbon Footprint Assessment Certification

MVP Tech – Convergint ME has successfully completed a comprehensive Carbon Footprint Assessment conducted by Farnek. This certification marks a significant milestone in MVP Tech’s journey towards contributing to shaping a sustainable future.

Environmental change is one of the most squeezing challenges of our time and we truly believe that each action helps maintain a healthy environment and better future. By measuring and mitigating our carbon footprint, we are taking proactive measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with various activities and operations and work towards a more sustainable future. Our goal is to not only reduce our environmental impact but also inspire and empower our stakeholders, partners, and customers to join us in this crucial effort.

Our Strategy

there are different crucial components of our Carbon Footprint initiative:

1- Carbon Footprint Assessment: Successfully carried out and earned a completion certificate from Farnek, an organization that helps companies reduce their environmental impact by offsetting carbon emissions and reducing or, where possible, replacing their use of fossil fuels, ahead of this assessment, different calculations were carried on determining the scope of the emission associated with the activities whether it will cover direct emissions (Scope 1), indirect emissions from purchased electricity or heat (Scope 2), or indirect emissions from the entire value chain (Scope 3).

2- Reduction Strategies: We are working on developing and implementing effective emissions reduction strategies. These strategies may include optimizing transportation and logistics, improving energy efficiency, and implementing sustainable practices throughout our operations and activities.

3- Offsetting Programs: While we strive to minimize our carbon footprint internally, we also recognize the importance of supporting external projects that actively remove or reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

4- Partners and Colleagues Engagement: Engaging our colleagues and partners is crucial in achieving our sustainability goals. We raise awareness campaigns to empower individuals to make environmental activities, additionally, we will actively seek partnerships and collaborations with organizations that share our commitment to sustainability.

5- Accountability: We believe in being accountable for our actions and strive to improve and set higher standards along the journey continuously.

6- Transparency: We are committed to being transparent to the community throughout this journey. We will regularly report on our progress, share updates on our carbon reduction initiatives, and disclose relevant data and information related to our environmental impact.
